Meet Your Editor!

Katherine has been working as a professional editor since early 2023 and is trained by and a member of the EFA (Editorial Freelancer’s Association). She has fallen in love completely with bringing stories to life! Her passion is helping her authors go from “good idea” to “a book that can’t be put down!”

While editing, expect kind, but ruthless scouring of your work accompanied by encouraging comments and positive feedback on the things you already do well! Editing with Katherine is like gaining a bookish best friend to help guide you, your book, and your characters, through the process of becoming their best iteration yet.

Whilst Katherine promotes herself as, foremost, a fiction editor, she is also incredibly talented in the realm of academic editing and is happy to take inquiries so long as her schedule allows.

  • Katherine has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hyper-Mobile Type (just like Billie Eilish)!

  • She currently lives on a ranch with her two cats (Vera and Socks) and helps to care for 6 horses!
